The first issue of vogue was realised in December 1992. There are only 2 similarities between both the old and the new vogue magazines. The lady on the front cover of the first issue is in a long pink dress which shows she likes to wear beautiful and fashionable clothes.

The contents page of this particular magazine is very eye catching. The colours are very bold and the picture is in the centre of the magazine. The magazine clearly shows what the magazine is about. The way the models are posed and what they are wearing shows they are part of the fashion industry. You would not see these types of outfits in a teenage magazine etc. The text on this page is very clear and is easy to identify what page which article is on. They have made the page numbers larger than the main text so that it is easy to see the numbers and they are not blended in with the rest of the smaller text.
